10. Service Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Improper Installation:
Appliance EMT is not liable for any appliance that has been improperly installed by a third party or non-qualified professional. If we encounter an appliance that was not installed according to manufacturer guidelines or local codes, we reserve the right to decline service or proceed with service at your own risk. We are not responsible for reinstalling any appliance in the same improper manner, and doing so may void your manufacturer or third-party warranty.

Improper Maintenance:
Failure to properly maintain your appliance may void any warranty, including ours. We encourage all customers to follow the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines.

Refrigerant Disclaimer:
There is no warranty on refrigerant recharges, as leaks and related issues may be caused by pre-existing conditions or non-visible internal failures.

Diagnosis Limitations:
Some appliance issues may not be immediately detectable and may require follow-up visits. Our initial diagnostic does not guarantee detection of all underlying or future issues.

Damage or Access Issues:

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage to floors, cabinetry, walls, plumbing, or electrical systems
  • Damage incurred due to the customer’s failure to provide safe or accessible work conditions
  • Hidden damage discovered during disassembly or inspection

Parts and Labor Warranty:
Unless otherwise stated by the technician, all repairs include a 90-day warranty on parts and labor. This warranty is void if the appliance is altered, misused, or serviced by a third party after our visit.

Customer Responsibility:
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure safe and proper operation of the appliance after service. Please notify us within 48 hours if you experience issues following a repair so we can address them promptly.
